October 24, 2006 – Brooklyn femcee Foxy Brown was sentenced to three years probation for assaulting two New York nail salon workers in August 2004. Brown had kicked and punched employees of the nail salon during a dispute over payment for a pedicure and manicure. She failed to show up for a court appearance and was threatened with jail time and the courts carried out on that threat in September of 2007 when they sentenced Foxy to a year in prisonn for violating her probation. On October 23, 2007 while surving time in prison she was given 11 weeks in solitary confinement after fighting with another inmate. She was also said to have been abusive to guards and refused to take a random drug test.
