The corner of Fulton Street and St. James Place in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn may be undergoing a name change to carry the moniker of one of its most famous, former residents. A 4,000 signature petition started by Leroy McCarthy with the aim of changing the street name to Christopher Wallace Way has been blocked by some City Council members. They object on the grounds that the late rapper’s tumultuous past, frequent run ins with the law, rap lyrics and his weight make him an unfit role model. One letter from councilwoman Letitia James can make this street name change a reality, but no final decision has been made as of yet.

Master P And Timbaland Headed To Divorce Court

Apparently love is not in the air. We told you last week about Big Boi’s impending divorce from his wife. Now Master P and producer Timbaland are both following suit. Master P’s wife Sonya Miller filled court papers to dissolve their union after 24 years of marriage. TMZ reports that the cause for the divorce was irreconcilable differences, but it appears that the pair have been separated for some time now. The first clue to their issues was when Sonya filled for child support back in 2011. She is asking for alimony and full custody of their 4 children. Timbaland’s soon to be ex-wife Monique Mosley has filled for divorce after 5 years of marriage. Not only is she asking for child support for their 5 year old daughter, she is also seeking support for her 10 year old from another relationship. But there’s more. She is also seeking alimony, life insurance and other expenses. In addition, she wants Timbaland to cover the cost of here attorney’s fees, money while the proceedings are pending, a lump sum and “rehabilitative alimony”.
